Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and restore a wide variety of construction rental equipment to correct working order. Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drive components, and typical mechanical failures. Exhibit positive interaction with customers, employees, management, and equipment manufacturers while upholding safety practices and standards. Maintain accurate records for repair orders, parts ordering, and timekeeping. Complete and submit all paperwork required by shop management within requested timeframes. Keep tools in proper working condition and maintain a clean work area while wearing all required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of verifiable experience as a Construction Rental Equipment Mechanic
- Valid Driver License
- Knowledge of safe operation of Construction Rental Equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- proficient in mechanical systems (transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.)
- Able to lift 30 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 80 pounds independently or with assistance
- valid driver's license
