Job Summary
Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform all assigned duties according to departmental SOPs and cGMPs. Execute maintenance and repairs of production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime, while assisting with set-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting to reduce defects. Coordinate corrective actions and complete all required documentation for repairs. Provide guidance and training to less experienced mechanics to ensure preventive maintenance and line operations meet established requirements. Complete and remain current with all necessary cGMP and safety training. This A1 shift (7am-7:30pm Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday) supports AbbVie's mission to deliver innovative medicines in immunology, oncology, and neuroscience.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical Systems, Electronics or similar field
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) – three (3) years of experience in industrial maintenance performing mechanical/electrical repairs
- Minimum of three (3) – five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance performing mechanical/electrical repairs
- Mastery in Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Maintenance Methods
- Proficiency with multiple types of industrial manufacturing equipment
- Experience working in a cGMP or FDA regulated manufacturing environment
