Equipment Technician II (Diurno 4X3 M-S)

Job Summary
Under direct supervision, performs and documents repairs, testing, maintenance, fabrication, inspection, and calibration of components, instruments, and associated equipment. Sets up, adjusts, and operates laboratory and manufacturing equipment while troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or test systems. Follows standard operating procedures, maintains a clean work area, and ensures compliance with local and company health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of related technical experience, and ability to read English. Schedule is diurno 4x3 from Wednesday to Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Technical education degree
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Ability to read, write, communicate and understand English
- Ability to successfully complete company/department training courses in manufacturing techniques
- Ability to learn regulatory (GMP) requirements
- Ability to learn to use PC's and associated software
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Ability to use test and measurement equipment associated with specific discipline
- Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with specific discipline
- Must be able to successfully complete company/department training courses in manufacturing techniques
- Ability to learn regulatory (GMP) requirements
