Job Summary
Equipment Technician-2nd Shift responsible for supporting coatings production, maintenance, and engineering regarding thermal spray torch assemblies and the overall system, robotic equipment, data collection systems, media blasting equipment and a coating systems preventive maintenance program. Duties include troubleshooting and maintenance of thermal spray and ancillary equipment, collaborating with Operations to resolve problems, assisting in training coating-operations staff and developing future training programs, monitoring training effectiveness, maintaining coating systems data collection equipment, calibrating robots on an annual basis, developing and executing preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and assembling thermal spray systems and related dispensers, and ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and applicable laws. Preferred qualifications include ABB robot operation/maintenance experience, SPC familiarity, semiconductor manufacturing experience, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Year Technical School or equivalent
- Robot Operation and Maintenance training
- ABB certification or equivalent experience
- Familiar with fundamentals of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Semiconductor industry experience desired but other industrial manufacturing experience considered
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent reading, verbal and written communication skills
