Job Summary
Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants while maintaining appropriate par levels for each department. Read par sheets and inventory levels to obtain supplies via the Stock Acquisition Process. Operate a pushcart for transporting equipment and maintain daily upkeep of your assigned area. Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions to your supervisor. Stop at-risk behavior of others and self, and perform repetitive tasks while adhering to safety rules and infection control processes. Work Sun–Thurs 7am–3:30pm with pay of $15.00–$16.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- Ability to read inventory forms
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
