Job Summary
Equipment Support Manager provides strategic oversight and customer support for indoor equipment across the full lifecycle from evaluation and site planning through installation, daily operations, and long-term reliability. Leads equipment support employees, manages equipment-related projects, and coordinates with the Darling sales team, DarPro Storage Solutions, 3rd party vendors, and customers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. Strong emphasis on training, scheduling, multi-job coordination, attention to detail, and organizational excellence to reduce risk, improve uptime, and deliver exemplary customer experiences. Responsibilities include managing customer support and daily operations related to indoor equipment; overseeing lifecycle activities (ordering, installation, repair, maintenance); supervising equipment support employees; reviewing equipment order submissions in CRM; coordinating with Sales Account Executives to support site surveys; planning installation schedules and resources; directing installation leads; managing installation expenses and vendor payments; developing vendor QA and equipment repair programs; supporting process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service experience in an office or corporate environment.
- 2+ years of experience coordinating projects or operational activities.
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading employees.
- 2+ years of technical troubleshooting or equipment support experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business technologies, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
