Equipment & Supply Technician

Assign vehicles and equipment to EMS crews according to the schedule, ensuring proper distribution and collection with crew sign-offs. Perform daily equipment and supply inventories, restocking supplies to maintain adequate levels and tagging out-of-service gear for repair. Plug in rechargeable equipment, prepare items for re-distribution, and update the crewscheduler daily worksheet. Manage vehicle parking, secure vehicles, and fill them with fuel while conducting NYS Part 800 checks and sealing equipment cabinets. Operate company communications and computer systems, inspect vehicles for condition upon return, and check crew appearance at clock-in.
