Job Summary
Conduct technical service and support for customers operating Evergreen filling machines by installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and servicing equipment. Train customer personnel on proper operating and maintenance techniques to ensure high packing outputs. Communicate with central scheduling, management, and customers while advising EPE service management of equipment problems. Travel to customer sites within an assigned territory, maintaining high performance of paper packing equipment to defend against competition. Maintain safety within uncontrolled environments while meeting budgeted goals for productivity and utilization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge
- Ability to read electrical schematics, use meter & troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Good working knowledge of pneumatics (valves, air cylinders, etc.)
- Must be a good communicator (including written and verbal English)
- Self-driven to work alone and also in teams, when needed
- Travel to customer site within assigned territory/region – 70% travel
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge MS Office Suite skills (word, excel, outlook and power point)
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge to verify inputs & outputs of a PLC and other analog components from HMI (Note: not required to program PLC or trouble shoot PLC programs)
- Experience in operating / maintaining packaging equipment or equivalent in dairy / juice industry
- Possess a passport for possible international travel or the ability to obtain one within the first year of hire
