Job Summary
Conduct technical service, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting for Evergreen filling machines at customer sites. Train client personnel on proper operating and maintenance techniques to ensure high packing outputs. Communicate with central scheduling, management, and engineering regarding equipment problems or modified designs. Maintain high performance of paper packing equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and antitrust compliance standards. Travel to assigned customer territories approximately 70% of the time. Requires strong mechanical skills, electrical schematic reading, pneumatics knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Salary range is $32-$36/hour plus benefits including 401(k) match and comprehensive medical coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge
- Ability to read electrical schematics, use meter & troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Good working knowledge of pneumatics (valves, air cylinders, etc.)
- Must be a good communicator (including written and verbal English)
- Self-driven to work alone and also in teams, when needed
- Travel to customer site within assigned territory/region – 70% travel
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge MS Office Suite skills (word, excel, outlook and power point)
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge to verify inputs & outputs of a PLC and other analog components from HMI (Note: not required to program PLC or trouble shoot PLC programs)
- Experience in operating / maintaining packaging equipment or equivalent in dairy / juice industry
- Possess a passport for possible international travel or the ability to obtain one within the first year of hire
