Job Summary
Field-based Equipment Service Technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and installation support on mechanical/electro-mechanical/electronic equipment in hospitals and laboratories around Calgary, with 50% travel, customer-facing and admin duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least two years’ relevant experience required in HVAC repair or Mechanics or Maintenance or Refrigeration or Boilers or Chillers or Equipment Repair or Diesel and Automotive Repair or Aviation Repair or Plumbing or Electrical or etc.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong Customer communications experience and demonstrated ability to build positive rapport and partner with a variety of Customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and Windows software. Proficiency with web technologies and navigating internet/intranet sites.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to travel to USA for training.
