Job Summary
Equipment / Quarry Operator responsible for assisting production and maintenance in a safety-conscious quarry environment. Roles include ensuring a safe work environment, following Environmental Health & Safety policies, supporting safety initiatives, communicating with staff, keeping work areas clean and organized, and training/coaching other employees. Must understand equipment functions and processes of primary areas, operate equipment effectively, and demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies. Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. Emphasis on teamwork, independence, and adherence to safety protocols in daily operations within the quarry setting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous surface mining experience preferred but not required
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills (English)
- Welding, cutting, and mechanical skills are desired
