Equipment Processing Technician

Job Summary
Assess the physical condition of reusable pumps and durable medical equipment, ensuring devices function correctly before cleaning each item per manufacturer instructions. Bag clean devices, stage equipment for pickup with proper storage and charging, and coordinate transport of damaged items with the Biomed Department. Retrieve soiled pumps and durable medical equipment twice per shift or as needed, maintaining a clean Decontamination Room while completing 20-25 pieces of equipment per hour. Manage electronic documentation, perform basic part replacements on damaged items, and support other areas when processing demand fluctuates.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic working knowledge of computers and programs
- Must be a critical thinker with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
- Strong product knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated good ability to prioritize work
- Strong organizational skills
