Job Summary
Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing minor upgrades on mechanical systems, including monthly/quarterly/annual PMs and repairs on facility equipment. Responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems; conducts preventative maintenance inspections; follows defined parameters with some problem-solving. Requires knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC, experience in industrial mechanical work, and ability to work in clean room environments with PPE. Role involves hands-on maintenance in a Chandler, AZ facility with a day shift schedule. Must have HVAC certification and be legally eligible to work in the United States. Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and adherence to environmental compliance.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (exhaust, chillers, boilers, air handlers, compressors)
- Experience performing general industrial mechanical work, including instrument calibrations
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Able to adhere to environmental compliance culture and a compressed work week schedule
- Work in clean room environments; PPE and air-supplied respirator; wear coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves
- Operate a PIT forklift and pallet jack; work in a mobile environment
