Job Summary
Operate a front-end loader with forks, bucket, and miscellaneous attachments while keeping the drill pad location free from snow and organized. Services and maintain the forklift by greasing it weekly, checking fluid levels, changing oil, and inspecting tires and systems. Move, store, and keep inventory of equipment, mud tubulars, and additives on the pad and yard, maintaining a logbook and notifying the Rig Manager of delivered items or shortages. Conduct daily HSE duties in compliance with Nordic policies, reporting spills, property damage, or unsafe conditions immediately. Assist in developing standard operating procedures, completing spill champion logs, and supporting internal audits. Works under the direct supervision of the Driller and general supervision of the Rig Manager, providing relief on the drill rig floor when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Trained to Operate forklift
- Current Driver's license
- Must be functionally literate, able to read, write, and perform basic math
- Must be able to walk, bend and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work with chemicals
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must complete a physical function assessment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with oilfield-related equipment and procedures preferred
