Job Summary
Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and safety inspections while loading, unloading, and positioning machinery. Observe concrete and material distribution, clean and lubricate equipment, and promptly report faults to supervisors. Train new crew members in safe operation and attend refresher courses to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues as required while maintaining clean, safe sites. Follow strict deadlines and safety codes under pressure. Prior experience operating equipment and relevant safety certifications are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Relevant license and safety certification
- Prior experience operating equipment
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow orders, especially under pressure
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- A sound understanding of health and safety codes
