Job Summary
Equipment Operator role in Fountain Services, LLC, operating heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, mini-excavators, skid-steers, trenchers, tamping equipment) in a construction setting to support underground electrical installations and duct bank construction. Role requires teamwork within the construction services division based in Spindale, NC, supporting projects across western, piedmont, Metrolina NC, and upstate SC. Responsibilities include safe operation, read and follow construction documents, grading, debris removal, and general construction tasks; maintenance of tools and equipment; adherence to safety and attention to detail; focus on career development and potential for advancement via leadership training and apprenticeship programs. Mandatory high school diploma or GED, drug screening, and a skills assessment; CDL is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- CDL with experience pulling trailers and hauling equipment
- Minimum five (4) years of equipment operation experience ( Excavators, Mini-excavators, Skid-steers, Trenchers, Tamps) in construction
- Satisfactory performance on a company-administered skills assessment
- Valid driver’s license – CDL Preferred
