Job Summary
Operate excavators and forklifts, perform pre- and post-use inspections, and stabilize hazardous waste for disposal while executing required paperwork. Develop knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations to maintain facility compliance with permit requirements. Assist the Facility Manager as requested and report to the designated office within one hour during emergency response rotating shifts. This safety-sensitive role involves handling hazardous chemicals and biological waste, requiring a commitment to safety training and regular attendance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
- Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts

Desired Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience operating excavators, as well as other equipment
- Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field
- Self-motivation with the desire to learn
- Prior relevant industry experience
- Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
- Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
