Job Summary
Equipment Operator in the Infrastructure Services Department for the Town of Orangeville. The role involves operating municipally owned or rented equipment (including trucks and loader back hoes) and performing manual labour to maintain municipal services such as the sanitary sewer collection system, storm drainage, roads, sidewalks, and cemetery grounds. One position is permanent full-time and two are twelve-month contracts, with responsibilities including winter control operations, snow removal, directing summer students, and supporting operation and maintenance activities. Requires a Secondary School Diploma, a DZ Ontario Driver’s License, and at least six months’ experience in municipal services maintenance. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word are essential. Police record checks may be required as part of the hiring process. Required Qualifications
