Job Summary
Entry-level Equipment Operator (temporary) with Savage Canac. Responsible for general labor, equipment cleaning and maintenance, and operating coal handling systems. Training to operate conveyor systems and heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer, excavators), unloading trains, and performing shifts in an outdoor coal-dust environment. Must be willing to learn, adhere to safety policies, and participate in daily/monthly safety and communications meetings. Duties include lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, wearing PPE, and working rotating 10- to 12-hour shifts with overtime as directed. Local work with home every day and opportunities for growth are emphasized.
