Job Summary
Operate robotic CCTV cameras to inspect sewer mains and perform tap cutting and dredging tasks for pipeline rehabilitation; support CIPP installation teams with inspections and equipment setup; conduct high-pressure water jetting and mechanical cleaning to remove blockages and debris; supervise processing operations (flow, pressure, dewatering, geotextile tubes); travel 75-90% to wastewater projects in the Charlotte, NC region; requires valid driver's license and DOT medical clearance; CDL and NASSCO certifications are preferred; OSHA/HAZWOPER and related safety training; able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces (manholes, vaults); read and interpret as-built drawings and blueprints; operate CCTV and heavy equipment such as cutter suction dredges and hydraulic cleaning systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; must pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to travel 75-90% of the time to wastewater collection system projects throughout the region
- Demonstrated capability to safely operate heavy equipment, CCTV systems, and industrial processing equipment
- Ability to work in confined spaces including manholes, wet wells, and underground utility vaults
- Capability to read and interpret technical documents including as-built drawings, blueprints, and NASSCO inspection codes
- Preferred: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with Tanker endorsement
- NASSCO PACP/MACP certifications
- Experience with sewer cleaning, CIPP installation, or wastewater collection systems
- Safety training such as OSHA and HAZWOPER
- Mechanical maintenance and hydraulic systems troubleshooting abilities
