Job Summary
Operate production equipment converting raw materials into finished goods for Liquid, Packets, or Powder departments while reading and following recipes to prepare and fill batches. Weigh premixes using a scale with basic math skills, remove product to the QC holding area, and perform QC tests on produced items. Train employees on equipment and processes, lead Lean Events, and assist the Maintenance Manager on projects as needed. Cross-train to operate in various departments and read batch tickets correctly. First shift Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm with overtime based on business needs. Starting pay is $16.80 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Equipment maintenance experience
- Able to lift 50 pounds from ground to waist-high placement
- Able to operate a forklift
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Lean processes or similar
