Job Summary
Equipment Operator/Shipping role at SanMar requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years lift operator experience. Responsibilities include operating powered lift equipment, using an RF unit to scan and locate product, loading/unloading, restocking, picking and packing customer orders, inspecting equipment daily, following safety guidelines, maintaining Lift Operator Certification per OSHA, and performing other duties. Must be able to read/write, identify colors/SKU, perform basic math, follow directions, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently or in a team. Overtime may be required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of lift operator experience
- Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
- Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.
- Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; rotate to other production functions as needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
- Able to work both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Essential days or overtime may be required.
- Complete and maintain Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
