Job Summary
Operate metal processing equipment and observe operations to detect malfunctions, notify maintenance, lift and move materials manually or with hoists, load/unload items from machines/conveyors, clean equipment during jams, follow safety procedures (LOTOTO, Fall Prevention, Fire Prevention), maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensure regular attendance, and organize materials for efficient space use; capable of basic communication in English (spanish a plus), with emphasis on safety and hygienic workplace conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a medical physical and drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and use basic math
