Job Summary
Load, unload, and operate heavy construction equipment including cable plows, backhoes, mini excavators, skid steers, and rock saws for material transportation and utility projects. Perform hand digging in trenches when machinery cannot reach specific areas requiring excavation. Maintain equipment and adhere to strict safety standards with a clean driving record. This role requires a valid CDL Class A (premium pay included if held or obtained) and strong time management skills. Work across all aspects of job sites within the Carolinas for Carolina Power and Signalization, a Quanta Services Inc. company.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid CDL class A (not required, premium pay included if CDL is held or obtained)
- Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the last 5 years)
- Strong focus on quality and safety
- Excellent time management skills
