Job Summary

Pre-code jobs for label manufacturing processes using automated and non-automated inkjet equipment to print variable and static text per established specifications. Set up computerization production runs using the proprietary CLPS software application while monitoring label production for accuracy and completeness. Work independently in planning, setting up, and manufacturing a wide array of label constructions that meet client specifications. Maintain all equipment in the area by adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines, including daily cleaning and preventative maintenance practices. This role supports the Clinical Labeling Services division within the Clinical Trials Division, located in Bohemia, New York, which provides leading clinical label design and production services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Standing for full shift
  • Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Knowledge and experience in the printing or manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in computer operations of transferring data
  • MS excel
