Job Summary
Equipment Operator responsible for operating powered golf-course maintenance machinery to mow greens, slopes, and turf, inspect and service equipment, wash and store gear, prepare sand bunkers, water and fertilize putting greens, tees, and fairways, and assist with constructing new greens and tees. Requires at least 1 year of relevant equipment operation experience in golf course or landscaping environments and hands-on familiarity with maintenance equipment, along with adherence to safety policies and a professional approach when interacting with members and staff.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience operating equipment in a golf course or landscaping environment
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with various types of golf course maintenance equipment, including understanding replacement parts, supplies, and resources needed for equipment upkeep and repair
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1+ year of equipment operation experience in golf course/landscaping
- Experience with golf course maintenance equipment and understanding replacement parts/supplies for upkeep and repair
- Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery
- Strong safety and professionalism in interactions with members and staff
