Job Summary
Operate a variety of equipment and assist with plant maintenance, production, loading, and shipping. Perform shovel work, sweeping, lifting, and cleaning while acting as a spotter. Use tools and clean-up equipment to support production operations, including removal of material on and from beneath the plant. Assist plant and equipment operators with general duties as requested. Conduct daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain maintenance logs. Maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility. Cross-train in all plant areas and learn to operate plant-specific mobile equipment. Travel around Central Iowa and Eastern Nebraska to help other plants with production. Full-time position with long hours and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree
- 1+ year related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must be willing to cross-train in all plant areas
- Must be available for weekend work
- Must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
