Job Summary
Operate construction equipment including water trucks, skid steers, dozers, and backhoes to support solar installation activities. Perform grading, excavation, and backfilling while spotting utilities to avoid damage. Maintain equipment, manage spoil piles per OSHA standards, and coordinate site movement with team members. Use basic tools, report equipment repairs, and assist in receiving and storing materials. Ensure accurate daily reporting and equipment check sheets. Work long hours including weekends across various job sites. Join a team providing specialized electrical and solar construction services to leading contractors and utilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment or similar machinery
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Willingness to work long and/or extended hours, including weekends, as needed
- Ability to travel to various job sites
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations (preferred)
- Willingness to undergo OSHA training and certifications
