Job Summary
Equipment Operator for 3rd shift at Generous Brands' beverage plant in Bakersfield, CA. Responsible for coordinating daily production needs with supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and performing production work, operating Beverage Plant equipment, monitoring temperature and pressure gauges, logging equipment values, tracking materials, unloading and preparing ingredients, completing changeovers, CIP’s, PMs, cleaning and sanitizing tools/equipment, troubleshooting faults, maintaining equipment in compliance with safety regulations, maintaining activity logs, and training new personnel. Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs. Requires ability to repair minor mechanical issues, experience with automated machinery, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training
- Pro-active mindset with good judgment under minimal supervision
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely (orally and in writing)
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Experience operating machinery
- Mechanical knowledge of automated machines and tools
- Ability to repair minor mechanical issues on machines and systems
- Experience conducting quality tests and analyzing data
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: forklift certification
