Job Summary
Operate vegetation management equipment as directed by the Foreperson, assisting with daily preparation, maintenance, and repair of tools. Set up safety barriers, warning signs, and markers to protect employees and the public while cleaning up debris. Perform daily reporting using the AMS system to submit timesheets and billing information, tracking mileage and maintaining above-standard customer relations. Assist crew members in all daily activities, taking a leadership role when required, and handle storm work as needed. Maintain knowledge of new equipment specifications, standard practices, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' experience in Vegetation Management
- Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Knowledge of daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used
- Able to hear verbal instructions from a distance
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- This position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job
