Job Summary
Equipment Operator I – Prep Cook on 1st shift (5 AM – 1:30 PM) at Teasdale Latin Foods. Responsible for batching, staging, labeling, and issuing ingredients per recipe cards; operate kitchen processing equipment including roasters and choppers; move products/materials between work areas; inspect and ensure FIFO rotation of ingredients; measure and weigh ingredients; record operational production data; operate pumping systems; use a handheld scan gun to issue materials to jobs and move inventory; assist kettle cooks as needed; maintain a clean and safe working environment; must be able to lift 50–65 pounds and perform bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing as required.
