Job Summary
Maintain logs for machine operation, maintenance, and gas usage while performing daily tasks to keep the facility clean, organized, and safe. Clean machinery after each use, inspect all equipment for deficiencies, and report issues to the Equipment Technician. Execute specific training tasks including line trimming, edge cart paths, ball mark repair, sod laying, and operating utility vehicles, blowers, and backhoes. Follow the Golf Course Maintenance Operations Manual and wear required personal protective equipment to comply with safety standards. Perform miscellaneous hand tool operations and other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations. Shifts are based on business levels with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- The ability to understand and follow directions
- The ability to operate golf course machinery
- Must be able to lift, pull or push up to or over 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have color vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to comply with all applicable federal, state and local safety and health regulations
- Must be able to wear personal protective clothing and/or use protective equipment to comply with established safety operating standards
