Job Summary
Operate entry-to-mid-level mobile equipment, including Haul Trucks, Water Trucks, and Front-End Loaders, to transport raw materials from the extraction pit to the crusher and move finished aggregate to stockpiles. Conduct daily inspections of vehicle systems, perform routine maintenance tasks such as greasing and minor repairs, and use SOPs to report malfunctions immediately. Manage dust control and site safety by operating water trucks, maintaining berms, and participating in the "Guardian Angel" program to identify hazards. When not operating machinery, assist with manual labor including shoveling, sweeping, and general site cleanup while coordinating movements via CB radio. Adhere strictly to MSHA regulations and environmental standards for dust and spill prevention.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Mechanical aptitude

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, and reach

- Good depth perception with or without seeing aid for distances up to 150 feet
- Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.

Desired Qualifications
- Technical training and vocational certification
- 6 months – 1 year of experience operating Heavy Equipment within a Mining, Quarry, or Construction setting
