Job Summary
Operate loaders and other mobile equipment to safely load customer trucks and support terminal operations. Perform quality control testing, accurately document results, and manage material stockpiles, inventory movement, and housekeeping throughout the facility. Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and report operational issues promptly while delivering excellent customer service. Maintain safety, productivity, and environmental standards in environments featuring moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, and elevated noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an aggregates, construction, industrial, or material handling environment
- Ability to perform quality control testing, maintain accurate records, and recognize potential product quality issues
- Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence
- Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and team members
- Dependable, self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
