Equipment Operator � Grading

Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, and compactors to perform rough and fine grading for building pads, roadways, and site development projects. Read blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans to establish and maintain proper elevations and slopes. Conduct daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and ensure safe job site operations following OSHA guidelines. Work closely with foremen, surveyors, and crew members while assisting with other site work as needed. This role requires 3+ years of grading experience, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of grading experience
- Ability to read and understand grade stakes and site plans
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment multiple times per day
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds when assisting crew
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with GPS machine control systems
- CDL
