Job Summary
Operate terminal machinery including top lifts, forklifts, and spotters safely and efficiently. Install liners in shipping containers, picture and document all container conditions, and provide daily preventative maintenance checks. Escalate mechanical issues to the Lead Equipment Operator, accurately verify freight for quality and quantity, and perform cycle counting as required. Communicate with others appropriately while maintaining knowledge of safety regulations. Requires previous experience operating yard truck/equipment, computer skills, and familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF equipment. Must meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined areas. Join our Columbus, Ohio operations supporting global supply chain logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating yard truck / equipment
- Computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a confined area for two or more hours at a time
