Job Summary
Equipment Operator needed to join CMC's manufacturing and reinforcement operations. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment such as cranes and other manufacturing equipment, performing routine maintenance, inspecting equipment and completing shift reports, troubleshoot production issues, participate in safety programs, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain daily housekeeping. Must be able to work rotating shifts, overtime, and in an environment with temperature extremes, chemicals, dust, and noise. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work as part of a team while following safety rules and PPE usage. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work rotating shift including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Heavy equipment operation experience
- Dependability in attendance and task completion
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions (temperature extremes, chemicals, dust, fumes, mists)
