Job Summary
Operate a variety of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment in mining/quarry environments, including water trucks, haul trucks, dozers, loaders, and excavators. Conduct daily pre/post inspections, ensure adequate berms/roadways, report needed repairs, maintain safe operations around conveyors, surge piles and crushers, perform routine preventive maintenance, maintain safe traffic flow, and assist in training co-workers. Potential candidates should have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience and experience with mobile/construction equipment; prior experience with off-road heavy equipment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
- experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment and/or equipment used processing plants
- experience in operation and maintenance of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment (preferred)
