Job Summary
Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance to ensure optimum output, while preparing inks for proper color and consistency. Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity; inspect plates for correct format, and visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality. Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, reorganizing as necessary to meet deadline changes. Maintain knowledge of safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE when exposed to printing inks, solvents, and chemicals. Work the 2nd or 3rd shift at the North Mankato-MN facility.
Required Qualifications
- Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:00am Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- 3rd Shift: Rotating 3-4 day workweeks Sunday - Tuesday, 5:00pm - 5:00am with every other Saturday Wednesday - Friday, 5:00pm - 5:00am with every other Saturday Monday - Wednesday, 5:00pm - 5:00am with every other Sunday Thursday - Saturday, 5:00pm - 5:00am with every other Sunday
- Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
- High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail
- High degree of mechanical ability
- Good reading ability
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Ability to work in an environment with regular exposure to printing inks, solvents, and chemicals; required to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Frequently required to move inside the facility
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- Must have ability to work with very close tolerances
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
