Job Summary
Operate metal burning machines with gas and laser equipment to maintain optimal uptime and part quality. Review and verify batch tickets, work instructions, material specifications, and part numbers before cutting. Perform first article inspections to confirm thickness, measurements, and cut quality. Communicate effectively with crane operators, machine operators, and parts processors to streamline production. Monitor operations to minimize material waste and maximize machine time. Enforce all company safety protocols and industry standards. This full-time onsite role includes a Monday through Friday swing shift. Starting wage ranges from $20.15 to $29.45 hourly, plus a $1.25 shift differential. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Required Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of steel saw cutting machine experience
- Basic understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and writing in English
- Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our employees and customers with respect, courtesy and tact
- Perform routine office support, understand written and oral instruction, and make mathematical calculations
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must confirm eligibility to legally work in the US via E-Verify
