Job Summary
Equipment Operations Specialist role supporting a large and diverse fleet of construction equipment. Responsible for coordinating equipment purchases, rentals, and asset tracking, processing equipment/vehicle requests from project teams, scheduling deliveries and transfers, tracking rental durations, assisting with vendor quotes and order tracking, maintaining Excel logs for rentals and purchases, onboarding new equipment, developing request procedures and SOPs, and supporting field teams with procurement and cost tracking. Requires thorough knowledge of construction equipment, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple requests across projects, and experience with Excel and data entry.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in construction equipment, fleet operations, equipment rentals, or construction equipment operations
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and jobsite operations
- Strong MS Excel skills and data entry/tracking skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple requests across multiple projects
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate internally, externally
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and follow-up skills
- Education: High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred
