Job Summary
Operate manually controlled, electrically powered, side-loading, and high-lift order selectors, as well as gas and/or electrically powered forklifts, to transport agricultural and industrial parts throughout the warehouse. Mechanically move materials weighing up to 500 pounds frequently and 3,000 pounds occasionally between designated storage locations, ensuring items match shipping, receiving, picking, and packing documents. Maintain accurate records, inspect equipment using provided checklists, and report faults or safety concerns immediately to the Supervisor. Work the second shift from 4pm to 12:30am Monday through Friday, meeting predetermined rates while following company standards and legal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- Three months to one year of relevant experience operating material handling equipment, preferably in a warehouse environment
- Must be licensed by the Company before operating equipment
- Must be able to sit and/or stand continuously for periods up to 3 hours without a break
- Must be able to walk and/or bend occasionally while handling various materials
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds distances up to 50 feet frequently
- Must be able to work from equipment platforms up to 20 feet above ground level
- Must be able to locate parts and materials, visually inspect them and read assigned orders, labels, and other documents
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must meet or exceed predetermined rates
