Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Equipment Mechanic responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of rental equipment. This role requires experience with both gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and general mechanical repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician (equipment rental, construction, small engine, ag, or heavy equipment preferred).
- Knowledge of small engines, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Customer service-minded and reliable.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with brands such as John Deere, Bobcat, CAT, Ditch Witch, Genie and similar equipment.
