Job Summary
The Equipment Mechanic role focuses on maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of rental equipment, including heavy construction machinery and smaller homeowner tools. Candidates should have experience with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and general mechanical repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Experience as a mechanic or service technician (equipment rental, construction, small engine, ag, or heavy equipment preferred).
- Knowledge of small engines, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Customer service-minded and reliable.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with brands such as John Deere, Bobcat, CAT, Ditch Witch, Genie and similar equipment.
