Job Summary
Join our equipment rental business as a skilled Equipment Mechanic responsible for inspecting and repairing a variety of rental equipment, from heavy construction machinery to small homeowner tools. The role requires safety consciousness and high-quality work to ensure rental equipment is ready for customer use.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Experience as a mechanic or service technician (equipment rental, construction, small engine, ag, or heavy equipment preferred).
- Knowledge of small engines, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Customer service–minded and reliable.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with brands such as John Deere, Bobcat, CAT, Ditch Witch, Genie and similar equipment.
