Job Summary
Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance on cranes, static, and rotating equipment hydraulic and mechanical systems. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning while executing preventive and predictive routines to minimize downtime. Identify appropriate tools, spare parts, and consumables, and document all maintenance work and test results accurately. Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate repair activities for cost-effective resource use. Adhere to strict OEM standards, QHSE requirements, and regulatory safety protocols, ensuring zero accidents during operations. Participate in client inspections, audits, and technical reviews to build confidence through reliable service delivery. Maintain proper certification for cranes and lifting equipment, and support SCM and tendering teams with technical input on maintenance scope.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, mechanical engineering or associated degrees in Mechanical/Automotive Technology or Hydraulic Systems
- Relevant trade certifications in equipment or crane maintenance
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in mechanical/hydraulic repair and maintenance of cranes and heavy equipment
- Demonstrated record of successful maintenance projects and equipment restoration
- Mechanical & Hydraulic System Diagnostics
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Strong technical problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail and adaptability in high-pressure environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in workshop tools and maintenance procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Additional training in mechanical/hydraulic systems, crane IRM, and QHSE compliance
- Experience in oil & gas servicing or related heavy equipment industries
