Job Summary
Perform routine adjustments, testing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial and contractor equipment, including welding machines, step-up transformers, and small engines. Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and aerial work platforms. Complete work orders, parts orders, and related paperwork accurately while maintaining a clean and organized shop environment. This day shift position requires willingness to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays, and may involve overtime and weekend work. Candidates must obtain forklift, aerial platform, and fall protection certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing tools, machinery, or construction equipment
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, schematics, drivetrain systems, and diesel/gasoline engines
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and extended periods standing in a shop environment
- Willingness to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays
- Ability to obtain forklift certification, aerial platform certification, fall protection certification, OSHA training, and manufacturer-specific training
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must provide personal repair tools
- High School diploma or GED
- Miller Certification

- Technical school credentials
