Job Summary
Equipment Manager in the Surgical team focused on educating and training end users on Alcon technology and techniques, optimizing surgical parameters, and conducting product trials in operating rooms and wet labs to support sales opportunities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include coaching end users on product enhancements and intraoperative technique, maintaining clinical expertise in ophthalmic surgery, providing primary troubleshooting during surgeries, generating leads and drafting sales proposals, conducting site/account visits with accurate CRM updates, supporting instrumentation training programs, and driving adoption of Alcon technology while managing administrative tasks and travel (50%+ evenings/weekends) to support customers and end users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; preferred B.Sc., B. Comm.
- 5 years of experience in medical or surgical sales.
- Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Ability to organize and prioritize projects; flexible.
- Desire to learn and adopt new technologies; strong work ethic and leadership within a team.
