Job Summary
Oversee the preparation, deployment, and maintenance of petroleum dispensing equipment, including fuel, DEF, and lubricant storage systems. Lead by example as a hands-on contributor while supervising technicians, providing coaching, and ensuring team adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and utilize the BHOS tracking module to maintain accurate inventory records. Coordinate transportation and setup of systems at field locations, enforcing spill prevention and emergency response readiness. Work independently in various weather conditions, requiring availability from early morning to late evening, including weekends and nights.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge of Petroleum Dispensing Equipment to include tanks, pumps, hoses, nozzles and other related equipment items
- General understanding of UL standards, NFPA codes
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, process improvement methodologies, and quality control techniques
- Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA regulations
- Familiarity with Spills Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
- Familiarity with EPA and DEQ Pollution Prevention programs
- Working knowledge of facility maintenance and fire suppression equipment and alarms
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to learn company systems and processes
- Adherence to the company's values and ethical expectations
- Availability for work as early as 6am or as late as 8 pm
- Occasional work on weekends and or nights
- Ability to work independently, after given instructions
- Ability to climb onto and off of, by means of a rung type ladder, tanks that are approximately 12 feet high and be able to stand on top of a tank, in a narrow space, with no hand holds or guardrails
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to move drums up to 400lbs with assistance
- Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, stoop, squat, and walk/climb various terrains repeatedly
- Ability to work in cramped or confined spaces
- Local Travel/Regional Travel
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
- Four or more years' experience in transportation, lubricants, fuel, or a related industry
