Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on production and facility equipment, including emergency repairs and installations. Dismantle devices to access parts, inspect systems for potential failures, and complete all work by filling out maintenance or preventative maintenance forms. Communicate task status verbally or via email to the technician taking over or the Maintenance Manager. Adhere to environmental, safety, and health policies while completing departmental documentation and training other technicians on preventative maintenance skills. Work 8-10 hour days standing for most of the shift with overtime, weekend, and on-call availability required. Must lift and carry 75 lbs, hold a valid driver's license, and safely operate a box truck, van, or company car.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Regular attendance
- Overtime, weekend, and on-call availability
- Knowledge and experience in applying general maintenance practices
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to correctly and safely use manual and power tools
- Exceptional attention-to-detail
- Capability to read and follow technical/construction instructions
- Capability to read and follow operation manuals
- Capability to read and follow equipment install specifications
- Capability to read and follow schematics
- Capability to read and follow diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs
- Ability to read and interpret technical as-built
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Mathematical ability sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate averages
- Ability to work 8-10 hour days
- Standing for most of the shift
- Ability to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor
- Understanding that access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- Understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- Understanding and following Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot electro-magnetic equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical as-built will be a plus
- General computer skills and ability to complete electronic work orders
- Ability to enter data into systems
